“Books Lost to the Floods, But Not Their Dreams Children Still Hold on to the Hope of Learning.”
The recent heavy rainfall has caused major educational losses in many villages of Hingoli district, as well as across Maharashtra. In Surwadi (80 students), Karanjala (240), Tembhurni (285), Lon (205), Sukli (290), and Renkapur (90), children lost their books, notebooks, school bags, and other study materials.
Every day, the children try to continue their studies, but without basic school materials, it is very hard. Some sit quietly, holding what little they have left, while others help each other and try to keep learning.
Even after losing so much, their eagerness to go to school and learn has not faded. With the right support, they can go back to their classes, open new notebooks, and continue learning without worry.
In their eyes, we see hope and determination — a reminder that education matters and must go on, no matter the difficulties.
